London & Colonial was established in 1995 and has approximately £700 million of assets under management. The London & Colonial Open Pension is only available via Independent Financial Advisers (IFAs) and allows investment into a wide range of assets including commercial property, listed and unlisted shares, discretionary fund managers, investment trusts, and SIPP deposit accounts.

Whilst there is no minimum regular payment into the London & Colonial Open Pension there is a minimum transfer in or single premium of £25,000.

The mandated SIPP bank account is held with HSBC which currently pays no interest whatsoever: however investors holding significant amounts in Cash can access any SIPP deposit account within the London & Colonial Open Pension.
