The Investment Sense Verdict
Although an attractive rate of interest there are other three and four months accounts available with better or equal rates of interest and a lower initial deposit.
There is also a 6 Month Fixed Rate Bond from FirstSave with a Gross Rate of 3.23% for an initial deposit of £1,000 and a maximum deposit of £2,000,000.
If your balance is likely to fall below £10,000 then a rate of only 0.5% gross p.a. will be earned and there are better accounts on the market for balances of under £10,000.
