Cost effective, easy to use, good support | A review about Sippcentre
Cost effective, easy to use, good support
We have a great consultant/account manager at SIPPcentre, who works with two office based colleagues. You can usually get hold of at least one of them at any time and they are well equipped to help with queries.
The charges under the contract changed with effect from 1st January, meaning that they are slightly more expensive for certain clients (depending on value). Overall though, they still remain competative.
Dealing (buying and selling funds) is very straightforward and has recently become cheaper, going from £9.95 per deal to £3.95 (higher charges apply to deal in certain holdings.
Their online functionality is fairly good too, althoguh we would like to see the ability to generate phased drawdown illustrations and the ability to cope with illustrations whereby the lifetime allowance has been exceeded (i.e. to reflect tax charges etc). We are told, however, that various developments are in the pipeline for the site.
