Calling all Accountants, Solicitors and HR professionals: Free Auto Enrolment Workshops – November 2013
Posted on October 23rd, 2013 | Categories - Retirement
Calling all Accountants, Solicitors and HR professionals, Auto Enrolment is coming to a client of yours soon.
Over the past few months it’s been hard to avoid the adverts on television and in the national press telling employees that Auto Enrolment is coming.
During the next couple of years businesses you act for will have to comply with Auto Enrolment legislation. This involves much more than simply putting a pension scheme in place and the penalties for failing to comply are huge; £2,500 per day for firms with 50 to 249 employees, £500 per day for firms with 5 to 50 employees.
All your clients who employee staff, whether a single part-time worker or with a significantly larger payroll, will need to comply with the Auto Enrolment rules.
We’re therefore putting on a series of workshops to help you better understand challenges your clients will have in complying with the new rules.
The workshops are free to attend and will last for approximately 90 minutes. We’ll be covering:
- How to calculate staging dates
- The four stages of Auto Enrolment compliance
- How and when to communicate with workers
- The options for putting a pension scheme in place
- Dealing with existing schemes – is it good enough to satisfy the new rules?
- Staying compliant
We’re confident you’ll leave the workshop far more informed about the obligations your clients will face and how they can comply with the new regulations.
We are running three workshops for you to choose from, places are limited to 10 people per session so book early to avoid disappointment as they say!
|Tuesday 26th November||8:00 – 9.30 am|
|Wednesday 27th November||10:00 – 11.30 am|
|Thursday 28th November||6:00 – 7.30 pm|
The workshops will take place at our Nottingham offices, 54 – 56 High Pavement, Lace Market, Nottingham, NG1 1HW.
We look forward to seeing you, if you have any questions about Auto Enrolment in the meantime please do not hesitate to get in touch on 0115 933 8433, we’re here to help.
